The Thermal R&D Savage catback exhaust system for the 2015-2020 Ford F-150 5.0L V8 is built for owners who want a more aggressive, more present exhaust note without giving up daily drivability.

The Savage edition features a shorter muffler design, allowing more of the engine’s natural tone to come through. The result is a deeper, more pronounced sound at idle and under throttle, with a stronger overall presence compared to the standard system.

Full 3" mandrel-bent T304 stainless steel tubing improves exhaust flow and durability, giving the 5.0L V8 the sound it should have from the factory while maintaining long-term corrosion resistance.

To control unwanted resonance, the system uses Thermal’s True Helmholtz Technology. This design targets and cancels the low-frequency tones that cause cabin drone, keeping the truck comfortable on longer drives while still delivering an aggressive tone when you get on it.

Out back, the dual exit configuration fills the rear valance properly and gives the truck a more aggressive, balanced look. Tip finish options are available in polished stainless or black ceramic to match your build.

The system installs using factory hanger locations and connects to the OEM catalytic converters or downpipes for a straightforward bolt-on installation with no cutting or welding required.
