How much is shipping?

It depends on where we ship. Thermal R&D Performance uses the less expensive ground shipping options when available. All shipping costs are calculated from the cart during the checkout process. You will have an opportunity to see the shipping charges before completing your purchase.

We do ship to AK, HI, Puerto Rico, US territories, and internationally for additional shipping fees.

What shipping methods do you offer?

Thermal R&D Performance utilizes UPS for most ground shipping services and various freight carriers as necessary. You can choose an expedited UPS shipping option during the checkout process.

Do you have a minimum order?

No, we do not have a minimum order.

Do you offer rush shipping?

We do and have overnight, next day, and 2-day options. If a product is not available to ship for some reason, a representative will reach out to you and discuss the available options. Not all options are available for all shipping destinations. If you prefer expedited shipping instead of standard, just make your selection during the checkout process. Please factor in 1 business day for processing the order. You order arrives the next day or 2 days after the ship date. These are counted as business days – weekends and holidays are excluded.

How long does it take to process and ship my order?

Orders placed on business days are often processed within 1-2 days. Weekends and holidays are not included in that timing. We always send an email with a tracking number, so you'll be able to track your package.

Please be advised that out of stock parts or special orders may take longer to process, but we will notify you ASAP if your exhaust part is out of stock. 

How long does shipping take?

Thermal R&D Performance generally process orders within 1-2 business days then ship. The length of delivery time depends on where you live and if you paid for expedited shipping. You will receive an email with a tracking number so you can follow the progress.

Will you provide tracking information?

Once your order ships, you will be emailed tracking information. Most likely, you will receive this email just a couple of business days after your purchase.

 If I pay by credit card, will you charge my card once the item has shipped?

For security purposes, your card will be charged at time of checkout. That way, we don’t have to store any credit card information. 

If I ordered a part that’s out of stock, when will it ship?

As soon as possible. Someone from the Thermal R&D Performance team will notify you if a part you ordered is out of stock.

 Can you ship my order to multiple addresses?

We prefer to ship to the card’s billing address. We recognize there may sometimes be unique circumstances. Please contact us at 661-723-2872 to discuss and be prepared to supply us with additional information and possible proof of identification.

Do you ship to AK, HI, and US territories?

We do. However, you will have to pay for the shipping charges that are calculated during the cart and checkout process. The customer is responsible for any additional charges.

 Do you ship to PO Boxes or APOs/FPOs?

Yes, we can ship to PO boxes with USPS as our shipping provider, and we do ship to APOs/FPOs. Please be advised, the shipping process may take longer through the USPS than private carriers like UPS. We will contact you with shipping information once the order has been processed and provide tracking details.

Do you ship internationally?

In most instances, we do. There are often additional fees that may not calculate at checkout. International shipping charges and any taxes, duties, etc. vary. We will contact you after receiving your order if there are additional duties or fees that need to be collected. While we will do everything to help ensure you cover known fees ahead of time, Thermal R&D Performance is not responsible for additional fees or taxes assessed once a package is in customs.

Do you ship hazardous items?

No. At this time, we do not sell hazardous items. All parts that fall under CA Prop 65 requirements have warning labels on the boxes themselves and notifications on the landing pages on our website.

Do you ship oversized parts?

We do. Many times these items need to shipped via freight to ensure safe delivery. If something outside of normal home delivery is needed (e.g., pick up at a distribution center), we will notify you as soon as we are aware if that is the case.

What happens if you ship the wrong part?

If we send you the wrong part, we will correct the error. Please contact us at 661-723-2872 to discuss this, so we can understand what happened and make it right.

What happens if the part is damaged during shipping?

If you receive a newly purchased part bought from Thermal R&D directly, and it was damaged during shipping, please contact us immediately at 661-723-2872 or sales@thermalrd.com. Do not attempt to install the parts, keep the box, and please take pictures. We'll help you file a claim with the carrier and discuss next steps to get you a new part.

How can I be sure you’re shipping me parts that will fit my vehicle?

Some of the Thermal R&D Performance parts are universal aftermarket parts and many are designed for specific makes and models. If you are trying to fit our exhaust parts to a specific vehicle and don’t see it in our online catalog, please contact us. We are happy to help.

What happens if the part doesn’t fit my vehicle?

Please contact us directly if you believe you ordered the correct part and it does not fit. If you believe you ordered the wrong part, please contact us as well. Other than a warranty claim, returns may only be processed on parts in new condition. So, please do not start the vehicle, or use our part on a vehicle if you are unsure of proper fitment. Please contact us right away.

If you are looking for parts for a specific vehicle and don’t see it in our online catalog or have questions, please contact us. We are happy to help you get the right parts the first time.

What happens if I refuse the shipment?

Refusing a shipment is not the proper way to return it. Instead of refusing shipment, just accept the shipment and then contact us for a return authorization. If you refuse a shipment, we may charge you a fee for doing so because it’s a major inconvenience for us.
