The design engineers at Thermal R&D could not wait to get their hands on the highly anticipated Honda Sport. True to form, our goal was to put out the best combination of performance, sound, and style, rather than attempt to be the first to market. We focused on optimizing the sound to be more aggressive (without allowing drone) and designed the dual tip as the high quality upgrade this car deserved.
This is a 3" cat back exhaust system that maintains all the original hangers. This makes our system a direct fit install. Gains would come naturally from the expanding tube diameter.
Designers wanted to maintain the double-exit tip since it was very unique to the Honda Sport. With a 3" system, sound control was a must. An internal rear chamber utilizes Thermal's unique 'True Helmholtz Technology' (THT) to control drone while keeping the aggressive turbo growl. This allows for drone cancelling when cruising, but keeps the aggressive deep, throaty notes on acceleration.
