2026+ Ford Explorer Tremor 3" Front Pipe Back Exhaust System — Turndown Exit
The community asked. We delivered.
After hearing from Explorer Tremor owners looking for a premium exhaust system built specifically for their platform, we went to work. The result is a dedicated Thermal R&D system engineered specifically for the Explorer Tremor, combining our True Helmholtz Technology with an overland and off-road focused turndown exit.
Built for Tremor owners who want a deeper, more aggressive exhaust tone without sacrificing everyday comfort or capability, the Thermal R&D 3" Front Pipe Back Exhaust System delivers performance, durability, and a purpose-built design for wherever the road or trail takes you.
Unlike a traditional catback, this system runs full 3" tubing from the front pipes back, giving the Explorer Tremor’s available 3.0L EcoBoost engine a deeper, more aggressive sound profile while improving exhaust flow. Under acceleration, the tone is deep and throaty. At cruise, it stays refined and comfortable for daily driving, road trips, and long days on the trail.
At the core of the system is our True Helmholtz Technology, a proprietary resonance-tuning design engineered to target and smooth out the low-frequency exhaust frequencies that can cause unwanted cabin drone and fatigue. The result is an exhaust system that delivers an aggressive tone when you get on the throttle while remaining comfortable when cruising.
Designed specifically with overland and off-road use in mind, the turndown exit eliminates traditional rear exhaust tips for a cleaner, more functional setup. The tucked design keeps the exhaust system out of the way while maintaining the rugged, purpose-built look of the Explorer Tremor.
Constructed from mandrel-bent T304 stainless steel throughout, this Explorer Tremor exhaust system is built for long-term durability and corrosion resistance in demanding conditions. Whether your Tremor is a daily driver, weekend adventure vehicle, or dedicated overland build, the system is engineered to handle the road and trail ahead.
The system connects directly to the OEM catalytic converters and downpipes, mounts using factory hanger locations, and requires no cutting or welding for installation. Emissions are not affected, as the front pipes install after the factory catalytic converters.

Does my 2026+ Explorer Tremor have a GPF?
The easiest way to check is your VIN or the Vehicle Emissions Control sticker located under the hood. If GPF is listed, this system is not compatible with your vehicle.
