This complete Ford Explorer ST 3-inch, cat-back exhaust system is available with polished or black ceramic-coated exhaust tips. It's an aggressively performing system that doesn’t require cutting or welding - it simply mounts to the OEM catalytic converter and downpipes.

Like all Thermal R&D Performance products, the new Ford Explorer ST exhaust system is built using T304 steel, mandrel tube bending, and the precision of Thermal’s True Helmholtz Technology. The result is a higher flowing exhaust that releases a throaty, aggressive sound while greatly reducing cabin drone. Additional features of the Ford Explorer ST exhaust system include:

“We should do well with the 3” versus some of our competitors that claim they are cancelling drone or engineering sound,” Asher says. “It’s now popular for exhaust manufacturers to say you’re cancelling drone or engineering the sound, but when you get into larger diameter exhaust systems you can’t fake it.”
