Here is what most of the competition misses: the 4th Gen Tacoma rides on the same platform as the Tundra, and that long frame gives low frequency drone room to build up behind the cab. So we tuned a dedicated rear chamber to kill it where it lives. Drone is engineered out instead of volume engineered in, and the result is a system that cruises at 60 to 70 mph with zero drone, then delivers the sound the moment you get on the throttle.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Standard sound profile is the one most customers will drive home. A sharp, quick-revving four-cylinder note with real tuner character, closer to a built import than a work truck.
