vehicle's exhaust system is one of the most important factors in
engine performance. The pipe size and flow rate have a direct effect
on horsepower potential. With a non-sufficient exhaust flow, your
engine's full potential will not be realized.
The
exhaust system finalizes and determines the full potential of a
modified engine. A high-performance exhaust system will allow additional
engine modifications to come alive.
Thermal
Research & Development has been working closely with import racing
professionals to configure optimum exhaust products for both the
street and the racetrack. Thermal Research & Development hand crafts
our exhaust systems with maximum horsepower as our top priority.
Thermal
exhaust systems are made of stainless steel and are mandrel bent
for high flow through bend areas.
CL
SYSTEMS
Thermal Research & Development CL exhaust systems are designed for
bolt-in applications and have a deep, throaty sound. CL systems
are tuned towards the upper mid-range and top end and are recommended
for the more aggressively built vehicle.
ST
SYSTEMS
Thermal Research & Development has recently introduced the ST line
of exhaust systems, built specifically for street performance. These
systems are designed to create a mellower exhaust sound. These systems
feature the same great look and quality as our CL systems. ST systems
are tuned towards low to mid-range power and are recommended on
mildly modified vehicles.
TURBO
SYSTEMS
Thermal Research & Development features a line of exhaust systems
designed for the Turbocharged Acura and Honda. These systems are
made of 3" mandrel bent stainless steel pipe and require some slight
modifications to your high-flow catalytic converter. We include
an extra 3" flange for an easy installation of the exhaust system.
These systems are a true 3" and will not connect to a stock catalytic
converter.
UNIVERSAL
MUFFLERS & TIPS
Thermal Research & Development Mufflers are available in stainless
steel with a sound absorbing design for maximum performance. Thermal
Research & Development Exhaust Tips are built from T304 stainless
steel and hand crafter with a high luster polish.
